The Opportunity
As the Training and Development Partner, you will design and implement a forward-thinking learning strategy that aligns with Aspire’s business priorities, focusing on eLearning content to support our future growth.
You’ll lead the annual L&D calendar, delivering high-impact training programs that focus on leadership development, operational excellence, and career progression. With a proactive approach, you will conduct training needs analyses, provide coaching, and evaluate program effectiveness, ensuring every employee receives the tools and opportunities they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
- Learning Strategy & Program Delivery: Design and implement a forward-thinking learning and development strategy that aligns with Aspire’s business priorities, with a strong focus on eLearning content to prepare for future growth. This includes developing structured inductions for new starters and providing training for trainers (Regional Managers, Area Managers, and Centre Managers). Deliver leadership, operational, and career development training in various formats, including both digital and in-person sessions.
- Leadership & Career Development: Drive leadership development initiatives across all levels of the organisation, refining career pathways and providing coaching to foster employee growth and leadership readiness. Equip managers with the skills and confidence to effectively train and develop their teams, ensuring a robust leadership pipeline for the future.
- Training Needs Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and opportunities for development. Regularly update eLearning content, evaluate program effectiveness, and implement improvements based on feedback and evolving business needs, ensuring our training remains relevant as we scale.
- L&D Calendar & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and lead the annual L&D calendar, ensuring timely execution of training initiatives that align with business requirements. Partner with key stakeholders to tailor training programs to operational needs and provide valuable insights on best practices in learning and development.
- Culture of Learning: Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organisation. Ensure all training programs comply with regulatory requirements and foster a growth-oriented environment, preparing Aspire for its next phase of growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in leading and executing learning and development strategies.
- A deep understanding of leadership development, career pathways, and coaching techniques.
- Experience creating and delivering engaging digital and in-person training programs.
- The ability to conduct training needs analyses and fine-tune programs based on feedback and performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the knack for building strong relationships at all levels.
- A proactive approach to building a culture of growth and development throughout the organisation.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects without missing a beat.
- Experience in Learning & Development within the Early Education industry or other related service sectors, will be highly regarded.
